W h a t w a s y o u r w e d d i n g t h e m e ?
Honestly, I never decided on a theme.. I just knew I wanted a classic timeless look with lots of white and gold. I collected images from various wedding planners and Anna Wang (absolutely the best) helped design the wedding of my dreams. We decided on some soft pink through the florals to break up the white. I also knew I wanted an enchanting look with a lot of candles to bring out the view from Taronga Zoo. We knew we couldn’t put chandeliers in because the roof was low so we decided on hanging florals to look like an enchanted fairytale!

We looked at many venues and we needed a room for 250-300 so that was our guideline. Emanuel actually proposed at Taronga Zoo when we did the Roar and Snore together in 2018 so that was initially what brought us to the Taronga Centre. We saw the view from the Harbour view Ballroom and we fell in love! So ultimately, it was a mix of sentimentality and loving the venue.
F a v o r i t e p a r t o f w e d d i n g ?
Oh my gosh- way too hard! The whole day was unbelievable! It just went too fast! It was all the little moments that made it amazing- getting ready with my girls and family, my dad seeing me for the first time in my dress, the nerves on the way to the chapel, walking down the aisle and seeing Emanuel, saying our vows and then obviously the reception was absolutely amazing! It was honestly the best day of our lives :)

Enjoy it all and don’t get too caught up in stress of it all! Enjoy the process and make sure that you’re happy with what you’re creating. I was so relaxed leading up to the wedding and I think that helped with being able to enjoy the day for what it was- an amazing day filled with love and family. Also- take moments during the day to just stop and let it all sink in because it goes so fast and it’s all a blur! I wish I could do it all over again!
